Ken Griffiths
Ken Griffiths (1945-2014) was known as one of the top advertising, portrait, and landscape photographers of his time. The key to his success was his ability to capture the real essence of human nature with an empathetic eye (and lens!) using his inseparable companions, a Gandolfi plate analogue camera and large format film. His adventurous spirit and lust for life inspired him to travel the world, exploring landscapes and the people, bringing out the extraordinary from the ordinary lives of those he encountered on his way. His passion for the craft is seen in each of his shots, some of which have been showcased at The National Portrait Gallery, The V&A and other private and public collections.
